According to Pete O’Rourke, multiple EFL clubs are interested in Wigan winger Jonny Smith. The 28-year-old English-Irish winger has received interest from several EFL clubs, with Rochdale, Salford, and Tranmere being among them. It is understood that Wigan are open to Smith departing on either a loan or a free transfer. Smith joined the club in July 2023. He has made 157 appearances in League One, scoring 16 goals and providing 17 assists. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €175k.
