Lyngby Boldklub is interested in Jonathan Witt, and Hillerød head coach Christian Lønstrup confirmed to Sjællandske Nyheder on Sunday that there is substance to the rumour. Lønstrup stated that Hillerød will not prevent Witt from moving to Lyngby if he wishes to, but the clubs must agree on the financial terms for the transfer to happen. According to the coach, it is the clubs' responsibility to reach an agreement regarding the defender. As Witt has a contract with Hillerød until 2028, the club must be compensated and will not let one of their best defenders leave without a transfer fee. Lønstrup said that negotiations will take some time, but they are open to the move if Witt wants to go and they want to help him get the experience of playing in the Superliga.
