It was confirmed on Tuesday that twenty-year-old English-Nigerian forward Jonathan Lawson has moved to the Finnish top-flight side FF Jaro on a permanent deal. FF Jaro head coach Jens Karlsson complimented Lawson’s physique and pace. Karlsson described the former Watford player as a striker who constantly keeps the opposing defence busy. Lawson, who made one appearance in the Championship during the 2025/2026 season, signed a contract that runs until the end of 2026. He had also been linked with a transfer to Oxford City.
