Energie Cottbus was interested in loaning German goalkeeper Jonas Krumrey from Holstein Kiel. However, the 22-year-old, who was no longer the starting goalkeeper at Kiel during the second half of the season, is instead set to join VfL Osnabrück. At Osnabrück, Krumrey is expected to be the number one goalkeeper in the 2. Bundesliga. According to 'Bild', the loan contracts have been negotiated, but the transfer is conditional on the player first extending his contract with Kiel. Krumrey joined Holstein Kiel in July 2025 and his current contract is valid until 2027; Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €1.20m.
