Bild reports that John Brooks has joined VSG Altglienicke. The 33-year-old former national team player is expected to help the ambitious fourth-division club with his experience in the upcoming season. Sporting director Torsten Mattuschka said that he has learned in his career that the best transfers are those where someone comes because they want to be there. He added that with Brooks, from the very first second it was only about football and his city, and that this was immediately perceptible.
