Johannes Schenk Transfer from Preußen Münster to Karlsruher SC

Karlsruher SC has already set its sights on a possible successor: Johannes Schenk from league rival Preußen Münster. Sky reports that initial talks have already taken place with the 20-year-old goalkeeper. Schenk is contractually bound to Münster until 2027, so compensation is required to bring him on board.

Karlsruher SC is considering Johannes Schenk as one of the three candidates to replace Max Weiß, who has received several offers from Premier League clubs to be their number two goalkeeper. VfL Wolfsburg's proposal to sign Weiß and then loan him out is likely to be unsuccessful, prompting Karlsruhe to evaluate Schenk, currently with Preußen Münster, as a potential successor. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market worth at 1.00m euros.
