Newcastle United does not intend for Joelinton to leave, despite growing interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League. The Brazilian midfielder is still an important part of the club's plans.

According to Team Talk, Joelinton is again a subject of interest for clubs in the Saudi Pro League. Clubs in the Pro League enquired about the player in the summer and made some progress on a potential deal, but Newcastle decided it was not viable at that time. The Pro League is now making enquiries again. While a concrete offer has yet to be made, Newcastle would consider a permanent deal for Joelinton. A sale would be considered and could be approved if the money was spent on one or two new players and all conditions were met.

Reports have emerged of Saudi sides pushing to sign Joelinton, either in the new year or next summer. Joelinton remains under contract until 2028.

ESPN BR reports that Joelinton's departure from Newcastle had been considered after he was unable to establish himself as a forward and lost space in the squad.
