Brugge's 22-year-old Ecuadorian central defender Joel Ordóñez is considered an unattainable target for Bologna. He, along with teammates Nicolò Tresoldi and Joaquin Seys, has become too expensive for the Italian club's finances. Ordóñez, who joined his current club in July 2023, has a contract until 2029 and a market value of €33.00m, according to Transfermarkt. The defender, who has 16 caps for Ecuador, has also been linked with other clubs, including Paris Saint Germain, Juventus, and Chelsea.
