Dundee Football Club announced the signing of defender Joe Wright on a two-year deal from Bradford City for an undisclosed fee. Joe Wright expressed excitement about joining Dundee and was anticipating working with the team. Steven Pressley stated that the club had been monitoring Joe Wright and his situation for some time and that he matches the characteristics they were seeking in terms of experience, stature, and leadership.

Dundee are interested in signing Bradford City defender Joe Wright, with the club interested in bringing the former Kilmarnock player back to Scotland. Wright's role at Bradford has diminished this season, as he is yet to feature in any competition and his position in the team's hierarchy has been lowered by a new loanee. According to the Telegraph & Argus, Bradford manager Graham Alexander stated that there have been enquiries for one unnamed player and the club would assess the strength of that interest. As Scotland's transfer window runs until Friday, there is no pressure for an immediate deal, giving both clubs time to negotiate a final agreement.
