Wigan Athletic have signed 24-year-old English goalkeeper Joe Walsh on a season-long loan from Championship side Queens Park Rangers. Walsh established himself in the QPR squad last season, making 23 appearances in the Championship. The goalkeeper said that he felt wanted and, upon hearing that a few different teams were looking at him, he made a significant effort to join Wigan once he knew they were interested. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.50m.
