According to journalist Joe Crann, Sheffield Wednesday are targeting Bristol City's 31-year-old English goalkeeper Joe Lumley. The club seeks to strengthen their options in that position as their current keeper, Pierce Charles, is nearing a move to Man City. Last season, Lumley was not a primary choice for his position at Ashton Gate and had a brief emergency loan spell with Wednesday in October. It is not yet known if Bristol City would approve an exit, though they have signed Sam Tickle, who is expected to be their primary goalkeeper. Lumley's contract at Bristol City is set to expire in June 2027, and his current market value is €400k, according to Transfermarkt.
