Avaí is negotiating the loan signing of 25-year-old defender João Maistro from Atlético-GO, where he has made six appearances. Maistro spent this year on loan at Náutico, playing 13 games and participating in their campaign for promotion to Série B. The loan contract with Leão da Ilha is expected to last until the end of the 2026 season.
