Brusque has announced João Pedro as its first reinforcement for the 2026 season. The 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder arrives on loan from Santa Cruz, where he was no longer in the club's plans. The transfer was confirmed on Wednesday, and he will be part of the squad for the Campeonato Catarinense and Série C do Brasileiro. The player is able to play in both central midfield and on the right wing. He had joined Santa Cruz in February 2025, and his contract with that club runs until the end of 2027.
