Right-back João Moreira, a 22-year-old with Brazilian and Portuguese citizenship, will join Al Nasr in the United Arab Emirates after being released by São Paulo. He was on loan at Porto until a few months ago. He was not set to be utilized by Dorival Júnior's coaching staff and did not receive opportunities, having also been tried as a defensive midfielder without convincing the club. São Paulo will not receive any payment for the transfer but will retain 50% of the player's rights.
