Alverca officially announced on a Thursday the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Jhonatan Luiz. The 35-year-old signed a contract for one season with an option for an additional year, becoming the fifth goalkeeper on the team. In a statement to the club's official channels, Jhonatan said he was very happy, thanked Alverca for the opportunity, and assured he would fight to help achieve the season's goals. The player had already been training with the team for a few days under the management of Sérgio Ferreira. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €150k.
