Jhoanner Chávez, a 23-year-old Ecuadorian left wing-back at RC Lens, is expected to be loaned to Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic for the rest of the season, with the move anticipated to be completed in the next few hours. Since his arrival in January 2024, Chávez has been used very little and is now considered third in the hierarchy behind Matthieu Udol and Arthur Masuaku. The player has been slowed by injuries, has not played a single minute this season, and holds a contract that runs until June 2028. He has seven caps for Ecuador and a current market value of €3.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
