According to AS, Jesús Álvarez Aguado has signed for Tenerife for the next two seasons. The 26-year-old Spanish midfielder's signing was announced by the club, making him the second new player for the project led by Álvaro Cervera, after Martin Pečar. Álvarez joins from Huesca, where he arrived in July 2025. Last season, he made 36 league appearances and three in the Copa del Rey. The player developed in the Real Zaragoza academy and has previously played for clubs including Calahorra, Cultural Leonesa, and Ibiza. In a statement on its website, the club noted that Jesús Álvarez is joining to contribute his experience to the team for their return to the second tier of national football.
