Panathinaikos is one of several clubs to have made enquiries for 24-year-old Jesús Castillo. Internacional and Cruz Azul have also shown interest in the Peru international midfielder. Deportivo La Coruña are also considering him as an option, but this is dependent on them securing promotion to La Liga. His club, Universitario, are reportedly open to offers of around €1m for the player. Castillo has 17 caps and one goal for his country and is under contract until the end of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.20m.
