FC Twente is considering 21-year-old Dutch centre-forward Jesper Uneken from PSV for the role of a young, second striker. The club's interest is dependent on the sale of Sam Lammers, whose position has become uncertain following Wout Weghorst's arrival. According to De Telegraaf reporter Jeroen Kapteijns, Twente will add a young striker to play behind Weghorst if they sell Lammers for the desired fee, and Uneken is a candidate for that position. Uneken, who is on loan at RKC Waalwijk, scored 14 goals and provided 6 assists in 35 appearances in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie during the 2025/2026 season.
