According to Voetbalprimeur.nl, Dutch national Jerayson Hoepel has been acquired by FC Volendam on a free transfer from Feyenoord. The eighteen-year-old has signed a three-year contract. Hoepel was active in Feyenoord's youth academy since 2018 and is joining a club that was recently relegated to the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Last season for Feyenoord Under 19, he played fourteen matches, scoring five goals and providing one assist. Technical director Patrick Busby stated that the club considers Hoepel a talent who will be given time to adjust from youth to professional football. Busby described him as a fast, left-footed winger who performs best on the right but can also play on the left. The player had already joined the training squad at FC Volendam this week.
