Everton are reportedly among several European clubs interested in a late move for Tromso's Norwegian midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl. Premier League sides Bournemouth and Liverpool, along with Rangers, Besiktas, Lazio, and Union Berlin, have also been named as interested parties. The 20-year-old has been capped 6 times for the Norway U21 team and is under contract until December 2027. He is claimed to be one of the most sought-after players in Europe. Despite Bournemouth having made a more significant offer, Hjerto-Dahl has identified Besiktas as his preferred destination and is waiting for the Turkish club to reach an agreement with Tromso. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €7.00m. It was reported in January 2026 that Besiktas made a formal offer of €7 million. During that same period, his valuation was cited in a range of approximately €4.1 million to €7.1 million.
