Shakhtar Donetsk is interested in Jeffinho, a 26-year-old Brazilian winger for Botafogo, and is preparing a specific offer. Dynamo Moscow, CSKA Moscow, and an unnamed Chinese club also have an interest. While Shakhtar and the Moscow clubs have made inquiries about the conditions for a potential deal, the Chinese team has submitted a loan offer. There is also interest from Santos in Brazil, who would like to purchase the player. Shakhtar previously pursued Jeffinho in late 2022, prior to his sale to Lyon for 10 million euros in early 2023. He has since returned to Botafogo, and his contract there runs until the end of 2028. His return to Botafogo in January 2025 was for a fee reported to be €5.3 million. According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value is €4.50m.
