The 32-year-old midfielder stated he is always ready for FCB and the club can call him if they need experience. Boëtius affirmed he is at 100 percent and can still be valuable to a team, suggesting his age is not too old by pointing to the example of Xherdan Shaqiri. While Boëtius is open to a return to Switzerland and still loves the club where he previously played for one-and-a-half years, it was also noted his profile might not fully align with Basel's current transfer policy. The Surinamese international, who also has a Dutch passport, has a current market value of €325k according to Transfermarkt. He has also been linked with RKC Waalwijk.
