Globo.com reports that Criciúma has officially announced the signing of Jean Irmer. The 31-year-old Brazilian midfielder was officially announced by the club on Thursday. The player has previously played for clubs including Corinthians, Vasco, and Botafogo, and has also played in Portugal. He joins from Novorizontino, where he made two appearances in this year's Campeonato Paulista. He has been regularized in the CBF's Boletim Informativo Diário (BID) and is available to play for his new club in the Campeonato Catarinense. Irmer is already training with the squad and joins for the state championship and the Série B of the Campeonato Brasileiro. His contract with the club expires on 31/12/2026, and his current market value is €300k, according to Transfermarkt.
