Jean Batoum Transfer from Cracovia Kraków to Nyíregyháza Spartacus
Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC has acquired 24-year-old Cameroonian forward Jean Florent Batoum from Cracovia on a one-year loan deal that includes an option to buy. Sporting director Fekete Tivadar explained that the club wanted to strengthen its attack and that Batoum's profile as an extremely fast and agile forward fits their playing style. He also revealed that the deal was the result of lengthy negotiations, noting Cracovia was reluctant to let the player leave. The Polish club had only signed Batoum this past winter for a fee of 350,000 euros before loaning him to Nyíregyháza. Batoum, who has two caps and one goal for Cameroon, is under contract with Cracovia until June 2028. It had also been reported that Hapoel Petah Tikva was interested in the forward.
