According to Alan Nixon via Patreon, Bristol City are now interested in 23-year-old English striker Jayden Wareham, after their attempt to sign Dominic Ballard was unsuccessful. Bristol City had multiple bids for Ballard, reportedly worth around £3 million, rejected by Leyton Orient. The London club is said to be requesting approximately £5 million, an asking price Bristol City were seemingly unwilling to meet. While no formal bid has been made for Wareham, the club is considering an opening offer. Wareham, who scored 19 goals last season, is expected to be a more affordable option, particularly following Exeter's relegation to League Two. He joined Exeter City in July 2025 and is under contract until 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €400k, and he has also recently been linked with clubs such as Leicester City and Bolton Wanderers.
