Jaydee Canvot is on the verge of joining the Premier League, with reports indicating that Crystal Palace has secured an agreement with FC Toulouse for the transfer of the central defender. Transfer journalist Ben Jacobs mentioned that the deal involves a transfer fee of approximately 26.5 million euros, which will be paid to the Violets. This transfer will be Canvot's first move outside of France, as he was under contract with Toulouse until 2029. He is intended to serve as a long-term replacement for Marc Guéhi at Crystal Palace. Guéhi, who is 25 years old, has reportedly reached an agreement with FC Liverpool, although the final terms between the clubs are still pending.
