Newcastle United is one of several clubs interested in Javi Rodríguez, a 23-year-old Spanish central defender from Celta Vigo. Everton and Fulham are also monitoring the player. Paris Saint-Germain has also made an inquiry, although it is believed their interest is more for the future than for an immediate move. Rodríguez joined Celta in July 2024, is under contract until 2028, and has a release clause of €40 million. The defender has one cap for Spain and a market value of €18.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
