Jarosław Niezgoda, a 30-year-old striker who has been without a club for more than a year and a half, is currently training with the Polish first division team Pogoń Siedlce. Kamil Bętkowski has indicated that Niezgoda is on the verge of signing a contract with the team. Bętkowski shared on his profile on X that although Niezgoda is close to finalizing a contract, only time will confirm the outcome. Niezgoda, who previously played for Legia Warsaw and scored 29 goals while winning four Polish championships, transferred to Portland Timbers in 2020 for 3.45 million euros. Despite scoring 23 goals in 94 matches in Major League Soccer, his career was hampered by injuries, resulting in the non-renewal of his contract. Since then, although he has been associated with several Polish clubs, he has not finalized any deals until possibly now with Pogoń Siedlce, who are currently 12th in the league table with four points after four games.
