Jannic Ehlers Transfer from Werder Bremen II to Erzgebirge Aue
Jannic Ehlers has completed a free transfer to Erzgebirge Aue after his official release from Werder Bremen. Erzgebirge Aue's Sporting Director, Matthias Heidrich, expressed admiration for Ehlers, describing him as a straightforward player with excellent physical attributes and a notable goal threat. The 22-year-old winger has previously participated in 94 Regionalliga matches for Holstein Kiel, Werder Bremen, and SC Weiche Flensburg, directly contributing to 40 goals, with 28 goals and 12 assists. Ehlers, who ranked among the top scorers in the Regionalliga Nord last season with 20 goal involvements, becomes Erzgebirge Aue's seventh new signing this summer, as the team looks to improve on their 13th place finish in the previous season.
