Roma is awaiting an offer of 16 million euros from the Saudi club Neom for Ziolkowski, according to Tuttomercato. The potential transfer is facilitated by the arrival of Jayden Oosterwolde.

Centre-back Jan Ziółkowski, 21, who developed at Trigoria, has not had the impact at Roma that Gian Piero Gasperini expected since joining the club in August 2025, and due to his young age, the club is reluctant to sell him. He has attracted interest from clubs from Saudi Arabia for some time, and NEOM has now submitted the first official offer for the Polish player. The Friedkins and Tony D'Amico would only consider proposals of at least 20 million euros. Ziółkowski, who has three caps for Poland, made 18 appearances in Serie A last season and his contract with Roma is valid until 2030. Several Premier League clubs, including Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United, have also been linked with the defender. In June 2026, Nottingham Forest was said to have made a verbal proposal of €15 million, while Roma reportedly rejected a €20 million offer from a Premier League club during the winter window. The player's current Transfermarkt market value is €12.00m.
