Spanish winger Jan Virgili is transferring to Club Brugge after the Belgian club reached a full agreement with RCD Mallorca. The transfer fee is reportedly around twelve million euros, which was a fixed buyout clause following Mallorca's relegation. The player is expected to sign a contract until mid-2030. Ajax had previously identified Virgili as a potential target. The club's technical director, Jordi Cruijff, had placed the twenty-year-old on his shortlist as a possible replacement for Mika Godts and viewed him as a more affordable option than Noa Lang.
