Legia Warszawa is interested in signing 29-year-old centre-forward Jan Kuchta from Sparta Praga and is considered the favorite to sign the player. However, the Ekstraklasa leader faces competition, as eurofotbal.cz reports that Slovan Liberec is also a contender. Czech media state that Slovan has also recently considered the Czech international. The player's coach, Brian Priske, confirmed a potential transfer is the reason for Kuchta's absence from the squad, explaining that the forward had been training with the reserve team. Kuchta, who joined Sparta Prague in July 2025, has 31 caps and three goals for Czechia and a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.70m.
