Jan Łabędzki, a 19-year-old Polish central midfielder, will no longer play for the Italian club Bologna, having decided to return to Poland on a permanent transfer to Polonia Bytom. Łabędzki had initially moved to Bologna from ŁKS Łódź in the summer of 2024. While in Italy, he played for the club's youth teams at the Primavera level, making one appearance in the 2025/2026 season. He also participated in first-team training but did not make a senior debut. His desire for senior-level football was a key factor in his decision to change clubs. The contract with Polonia Bytom is valid until June 30, 2027, with an option for an automatic extension of another twelve months. Łabędzki has three caps for the Poland U19 national team.
