James Eto'o: CSKA Sofia Contract Extension
According to 'Match Telegraph', CSKA will make every effort to keep key midfielder James Eto'o, whose contract expires at the end of the season. His contract includes a clause for a one-year extension if both parties agree. The club is reportedly ready to retain James Eto'o with a record contract that would make him the highest-paid player. The management is also ready to include a fixed buyout clause with an approximate value of 3,000,000 euros. A final outcome in the negotiations is expected within two weeks, and the club is currently optimistic about the new contract.
According to Sportal.bg, CSKA intends to retain midfielder Eto'o until the summer of 2027. The club wishes to keep the midfielder, and both parties have started negotiations for Eto'o to stay at least until that date, but there is still no final agreement.
CSKA intends to enter negotiations for a new contract with James Eto'o. The club is not satisfied with the existing contract signed by the previous management, which allows the player to leave too easily. James Eto'o joined CSKA last summer from Botev Plovdiv for 1 million euros. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market worth at 1.50 million euros.
