Qarabag has made an offer to CSKA Sofia for the 25-year-old Cameroonian international midfielder, James Eto’o. An initial offer has already been submitted, but the Bulgarian club appeared unsatisfied with this first proposal. James Eto’o could join the Azerbaijani league if an agreement is reached. The player remains tempted by this challenge, but will not enter into a conflict to force a departure. The two clubs and Eto’o are awaiting the final decision in order to determine the next step in his career. Qarabag offers the former Nantes player the opportunity to play in a European competition this season. According to Transfermarkt, James Eto’o is valued at 1.8 million euros. He could therefore leave CSKA Sofia if this interest materializes in a signing. The player, who has one cap for Cameroon, joined his current club in September 2024 and his contract runs until 2029. Ludogorets and Gent have also been linked with him.
