Jakub Jugas, a 33-year-old Czech centre-back, revealed that after leaving Cracovia in the winter, he received a concrete offer from Stal Mielec, and that the club's coach and sporting director personally called him. The defender, who joined FC Zlín, explained that he rejected the move for family reasons, as he wanted to enroll his daughter in a Czech school and did not consider the prospect of living an hour away from his family in Krakow to be ideal. Jugas also mentioned being in contact with another Polish club, clarifying that it was not an official approach, and stated that if Zlín had not been interested, he probably would have continued talks with Artis Brno. The three-time Czechia international made two league appearances for Cracovia this season, and according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €150k.
