According to information from Szymon Janczyk of Weszlo.com, Korona Kielce is in advanced talks to acquire 18-year-old Jakub Adkonis from Legia Warszawa. The same source considers Korona Kielce to be the favorites to sign the versatile midfielder, who is available on a free transfer. Adkonis will not extend his expiring contract with Legia Warszawa after his loan spell at Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki concluded. The Polish youth international, who has 12 caps and one goal for the U19 team, was previously linked with Piast Gliwice and Lechia Gdańsk. Szymon Janczyk believes Piast Gliwice did not take any action to sign him. It is also reported that Lechia Gdańsk's relegation from the Ekstraklasa made the player uninterested in a move to the I liga. According to Transfermarkt, Adkonis has a current market value of €600k.
