Jakob Korte Transfer from Preußen Münster to FC Gütersloh
Jakob Korte, a 22-year-old German defensive midfielder from Preußen Münster who joined the club in July 2024, is being considered for another loan because he is not getting enough playing time due to strong internal competition. This season, Korte has made 4 appearances in the Oberliga Westfalen and scored one goal. According to BILD information, FC Gütersloh are showing strong interest in a loan for Korte until the end of the season. FC Gütersloh are fourth in the Regionalliga and have hopes of promotion. Decision-makers at both clubs are said to view the loan positively. It is reported from circles within the East Westphalian club that their coach, Julian Hesse, is also very much in favor of the move. It is unclear if Korte's contract in Münster must be extended before the loan can be finalized. Korte, who has a market value of 200,000 Euro, was previously loaned to VfB Lübeck from January to June 2025, where he received positive reviews after scoring one goal in ten games before a persistent pubic bone injury sidelined him. He has recently almost fully recovered and participated in Preußen Münster's training camp in Murcia, Spain, where he played in a friendly match.
