Jaime Alvarado, a 26-year-old Colombian midfielder for Independiente Medellín, is reportedly among the potential departures from the club. According to journalist Juan Felipe Cadavid, Alvarado has received offers from Once Caldas and Deportivo Cali and is said to be receptive to both because his playing time has decreased at his current team. Journalist Julián Capera revealed that Once Caldas is the leading contender to sign the midfielder. The club aims to complete his signing in the coming days, and there is also strong interest from other teams. While Millonarios was also linked to Alvarado, he is reportedly not a priority for them. Alvarado, who has 8 caps for Colombia's U23 team, joined Independiente Medellín in January 2023 and his contract is valid until December 2026. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €900k.
