According to Tuttomercato, the transfer of Sardo to Pescara followed a prolonged pursuit. Sardo had been wanted by Pescara for two years and, although Milan delayed the process, Pescara signed the player due to his willingness, as Sardo only wanted to join them.

According to Tuttomercato, Jacopo Sardo, a 21-year-old Italian central midfielder, has been temporarily transferred from AC Milan to Pescara Calcio. Pescara Calcio has communicated that it acquired the rights to the player's sporting performances from AC Milan on a temporary basis. The loan is set to run until June 30, 2027. Sardo has 8 caps for the Italy U20 team, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €400k. He was also linked with Catanzaro.
