East Kilbride's club captain, 30-year-old Scottish Central Midfielder Jack Leitch, has left to join Edinburgh City. He follows his former teammate Jordan McGregor in moving to the capital club, and the move is a drop down a league. It is understood that the League Two side is offering as much as double what Leitch was earning previously. East Kilbride manager Mick Kennedy stated to Lanarkshire Live Sport that Leitch had received a significantly better deal elsewhere. Kennedy confirmed that the club attempted to keep the player but was unable to come close to matching the new offer. In the 2025/2026 Scottish League Two season, Leitch made 30 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
