Shakhtar Donetsk has reportedly renewed its interest in signing Metalist 1925's 28-year-old Ukrainian midfielder Ivan Kaliuzhnyi. According to insider Igor Burbas, the player from the Kharkiv club is in Shakhtar's sphere of interest, although no substantive negotiations have yet occurred between the clubs. It is said that the footballer's contract has a release clause of 4 million euros; if this were paid, Shakhtar would not need to negotiate separately with Metalist 1925.
