Anatoly Kapsky, the chairman of the board for the Belarusian club BATE, confirmed that the club is in the process of signing 27-year-old Russian forward Ivan Ignatiev. Kapsky also said that the player is currently undergoing a medical examination and that BATE plans to include him in the squad in the near future. Ignatiev joined his current club, FC Orenburg, in August 2025, and his contract there runs until June 2027. The forward has 12 caps for the Russia U21 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €500k.
