Ivan Ignatiev leaving JS Kabylie?
Ivan Ignatiev's agent, Alan Aguzarov, announced that the forward will soon leave the Algerian club Kabylie and return to Russia. Previously, media reported that Ignatiev does not intend to return to Algeria because his grandmother is ill with cancer and he wants to stay in his homeland. Alan Aguzarov stated that official information about Ignatiev's future will be available within a day or two, unless something extraordinary happens. Ignatiev has previously played for clubs including Krasnodar, Rubin, Krylia Sovetov, Lokomotiv, Sochi, Serbian Železničar Pančevo, and Armenian Urartu.
Ivan Ignatyev is considering a return to the Russian Premier League (RPL) from his current club Kabylie in Algeria. There is interest from some Russian clubs, and he is open to returning, acknowledging the higher level of competition in Russia compared to Algeria. However, he acknowledges difficulties in transferring to a major Russian team due to past media portrayals and other unspecified criteria. Negotiations are described as sometimes difficult. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 900k euros.
