Ivan Ignatiev Transfer from JS Kabylie to Orenburg

Orenburg president Kirill Volzhenkin confirmed the transfer of striker Ivan Ignatyev from the Algerian club JS Kabylie. Negotiations with Kabylie took a long time but ended successfully. Agreement with the player was reached quickly. The deal is important considering the foreign players quota in Russia.

Orenburg announced the signing of Ivan Ignatiev from Kabylie on September 2, 2025. Ignatiev's agent, Alan Aguzarov, praised his client as the best forward in Russia and mentioned his recent maturity and achievements abroad. Ignatiev scored 18 goals during his time with Urartu and Kabylie, both clubs finishing second in their respective leagues.

Orenburg announced the transfer of 26-year-old forward Ivan Ignatyev from Algerian club Kabylie via their Telegram channel. Ignatyev joined Kabylie from Urartu in February 2025 and participated in 15 matches in the Algerian championship, scoring five goals. He is a product of the Krasnodar academy and has played for several clubs, including Rubin, Krylia Sovetov, Lokomotiv, Sochi, Serbian club Zeleznicar, Urartu, and Kabylie.

The agent of Russian centre-forward Ivan Ignatyev, Aniss Benshabane, has confirmed that Orenburg is interested in the 26-year-old player. Although Orenburg has not made direct contact with Benshabane, they have communicated with a Russian agent representing Ignatyev about a possible transfer. Benshabane mentioned that they are open to the idea of returning to Russia and that Ivan is keen on the move. Ivan is currently under contract with Kabylie until the summer of 2026. Ignatyev, who has previously played for Krasnodar, Rubin, Krylya Sovetov, and Lokomotiv, is reportedly a target for Orenburg as reported by Sport-Express. Transfermarkt lists the player's market value at €900,000.
