Isaac Cossier, an 18-year-old French central defender, has extended his contract with Lille until 2027. Following the extension, he has been loaned to Le Mans for the remainder of the season. Cossier was part of Bruno Genesio's squad for Lille's match against Brest in the first round of Ligue 1, although he did not play. The decision to loan him was made after the signing of Chancel Mbemba, just before the French transfer window closed, which reduced Cossier's chances of playing in the first team this season.
