Erdem Açıkgöz reported that Samsunspor has made an official offer to Fenerbahçe for goalkeeper İrfan Can Eğribayat. Açıkgöz also reported that talks are expected to conclude shortly. İrfan Can Eğribayat is 27 years old and has experienced a lack of regular playing time at Fenerbahçe. He was previously the subject of interest from several leading Polish Ekstraklasa clubs, which included Legia Warszawa, Lech Poznań, Widzew Łódź, and Cracovia. A former Türkiye U21 international, Eğribayat has made 3 appearances in the Süper Lig this season. His contract with Fenerbahçe is due to expire in June 2027, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €2.00m. The club's asking price was reportedly €1.2 million in December 2025 and January 2026. This amount is the same as the fee Fenerbahçe paid to acquire him from Göztepe in July 2023.
