Kifisia is acquiring Ioannis Kousoulos from Omonia to add experience to their midfield. The 30-year-old Cypriot international, who primarily plays as a defensive midfielder but can also play as a centre-back and right-back, is expected in Athens to undergo medical tests and then sign his contract. Kousoulos has been with Omonia since 2018, making over 180 appearances, and also has more than 50 caps for the Cyprus national team, for which he has scored four goals. Despite his contract with the Cypriot club running until the summer of 2027, both sides are completing his move to Greece. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €375k.
