Ioannis-Christos Kostoglou Transfer from Borussia Dortmund U19 to PAOK
A German media outlet that closely covers Borussia Dortmund reports that the transfer of Christos Kostoglou to PAOK is nearly finalized. The report states that Kostoglou's move to PAOK is a separate transfer and is not part of the agreement that involves Giannis Konstantelias. The media outlet claims that there were differing views within Borussia Dortmund concerning Kostoglou's prospects of becoming a professional at the club. It is reported that Kostoglou preferred to join first-team training immediately, but the club's management did not believe he was ready for Bundesliga first-team sessions. He had one year left on his contract. After the transfer of Konstantelias, the club wanted to make a concession to PAOK by transferring Kostoglou. The report mentions that PAOK will assign Kostoglou to their second team at first.
